some of our school friends came early and there was lots of giggling and drawing,
then there was lots of eating and giggling
and now they're back to giggling and drawing while listening to disney on pandora.
and soon, anatomy will start and there are some really fun activities today.
we are on the bones, part I
the kids don't know what part of the unit we're studying today -
so first up, "hot and cold" to find the skeleton i've hidden in the front room.
and at some point, everyone will go home
and i will have to figure out what to do with luke's 20 foot banner he's made for my birthday -
which is not today, nor this week
but soon.
but still.
kids.
okay, i'm off to see if the skies have cleared a bit.
there is sanding to do and lots and lots of clean up in our "new room" -
a piece of temporary roofing came off during a wind storm earlier this month
and there was a bit of a leak.
next i find a spare piece of roofing on the patio -
i will not just pick it up and put it to the side and assume the contractor dropped it.
i will track him down and ask if it is important.
my bad.
okay, have a good day.
tomorrow i will post our skeleton, part I -
it's a fun one.
