well, almost a year later -
charlie got her second haircut tonight.
mommy is almost as excited as charlie
(though i would have kept it a bit longer)
because now we won't have to have our 30 minute bonding sessions
where i spray and brush, spray and brush, spray and brush...
so, so excited.

oh, well - it's WAY shorter than i would prefer...but i thought i'd go with it since she wanted to go even shorter and since her hair is crazy and will grow out again in months.
wow! i can't believe how much i had come to see that long hair as part of her. she looks the same, but so different too. i agree, i would like it just a bit longer, but it will grow quickly and she will be able to decide where she likes it best. good for you all!

Kylie begged and begged for a haircut last spring, so I got it cut, for the first time. It was very, very cute bobbed, but I still miss those long, perfect, red ringlets. They were truly glorious.

I love it and I HATE it. I want to cry. Since she is my little girl and I alway feel like her tons of wavy hair is part of the proof that she is really my little girl. sigh.
